2021 Heart-to-Heart Day Cancellation   More Info

Chicagoland Cardiac Connections is Chicagoland's first community for children and young adults with pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs). Our mission is to help connect young patients to others like them.

CCC was founded by the patients, nurses and cardiologists at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. Our group is led by Dr. Gregory Webster and a steering committee of families and patients with pacemakers and ICDs.

Our all-volunteer organization conducts the annual event to bring patients, parents, friends, families and providers face-to-face. In 2020 we will be holding our Heart-to-Heart day on September 20th. We want to let everyone know that they are not alone.

All time and materials are donated or are supported by tax-deductible donations and fundraising events.

CCC is open to patients of any age who have a pacemaker or ICD. We welcome family members and friends. If you might receive a pacemaker or ICD someday, come join us!
